Mount Dukono is located in the north of Halmahera Island. Mount Dukono consists of several volcanic craters with high activity. In the 1550 eruption, erupting lava filled the strait between Halmahera Island and the northern slope of Mount Mamuya. The eruption reached a scale of 3 from Volcanic.
